On a journey towards finding answers, Madam Nageswari was baffled by an ailment affecting her son. No doctors had the answer and upon her quest, she found alternative healing.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is known as Universal energy. It encompasses energy of love and a healing technique based on the principle that the healer can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being.

When did you get your calling?

Tragedy hit my family when my son fell ill and there were no medical answers to what he was going through. There weren’t any stones upturned. They prod and poked my son in all angles and places and they still could not diagnose him. That’s when a close friend suggested I see an alternative healer. Just to cover all grounds. I wasn’t truly a believer of such things but I figured, why not give it a try. We met all kinds of healers too. Most helped in their own amazing ways, but it was Reiki that helped me completely heal him. We used the symbols and generated great energy at home. All of us took up the task of preserving and disseminate God’s energy. Slowly he got better. Since then, I became a student of Reiki and have never looked back

Any interesting stories to share?

In my early days of being a Reiki practitioner, I had a heavy heart thinking of all the hardships my family was facing. It was one after the other, since my son’s Illness, and being true to the art of Reiki , I continually practices its healing energy. But,you know, when you question the universe, it will answer you in the most amazing and unique ways.

I was walking around Mid Valley mall with a close friend. There were groups of people selling make up products and naturally, there was a crowd. As we pushed through, someone tapped my shoulder and shoved something into my palm. What nerve, I thought, looking up. I instantly was mesmerized by the sight of the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and she smiled at me. It was an indescribable feeling as something touched my heart. Curious, I saw a piece of paper, a perfume sampler, torn into two, and on it, in simple writing, a quote. HAPPY HEART was all that was written. I questioned this, and wondered what it meant. Then it dawned on me. If I truly believed in the art of Reiki and want to help anyone heal, I, first must have a happy heart, then all good things will follow. Love yourself and the universe will conspire to having everything positive and good love you back.

What is your best advice for anyone looking for spiritual enlightenment?

Practice to LOVE EVERYTHING unconditionally. It is never your place to question, judge or give feedback if not asked. All things are created equal. Paramahansa Yogananda quotes so beautifully that we are all from the same source of energy.

What is your best advice for anyone looking for practice spiritual healing?

Learn from the greats, read a lot and practice. Make sure you sample many more healing techniques to better yourself. It is a great tool, but only with constant repetition of the art, you will heed success.
